This article is one I consider very interesting and deep too. Before you go further let me first say that, attitude is everything. I repeat, your Attitude is everything. Your attitude describes you. Your attitude is the definition of you. That’s why it is everything. There are basically two kinds of attitude; there’s the negative attitude and of course the positive attitude. Attitude is a contagious habit. I call it a habit because it is a character we learn from our environment.

Let’s get the definition of attitude. Attitude is a psychological construct, a mental and emotional entry that inheres in, or characterizes a person. They are complex and an acquired state through experiences. Attitude is a favorable or unfavorable evaluative reaction toward something or someone exhibited in ones beliefs, feelings, or intended behavior. It is a social orientation.

Our attitude is determined by our perception of things and our way of thinking. This means that our attitude is first created in our minds before we act them out. Thus, we control our attitudes because we control our minds. Some people apply this principle and use it positively to their benefit while some others either take this piece of information for granted or are ignorant of this.
Why should your attitude be important to you? Like I pointed out in the first paragraph, attitude is everything. Watching your attitude means taking control of your life. Taking control of your life means determining what you want, when and how you want it. This is pretty much what everybody wants so go for it. A positive attitude draws positive people and positive circumstances to your life like a magnet.

Let’s talk about negative and positive attitude. Both attitudes are better explained through an illustration. Two different people walk by a dusty road. Both are middle class people and share the same age grade. A Range Rover sports car drives past them in top speed leaving dust all over them. Mr. A, who is the negative one curses the driver and laments on how he doesn’t have a car. He stays grumpy for the rest of the day giving off negative energy to people around him. Mr. B, on the other hand isn’t too happy about having dusts on his clothes on his way to an interview but choses not to dwell on it. Instead he found the nearest rest room and wipes the dust off himself. He goes for the interview, aced it and eventually got the job. From this illustration, you can tell that positive attitude involves looking on the bright side of every situation and negative attitude simply is looking at the unpleasant side of things. Some negative people claim they are realistic people so they dwell on the negative experiences.

People with positive attitude have control of their minds. Positive people have an understanding of the Law of Attraction. Positive people rule their world. 

You might be thinking, why do I end up being controlled by negative circumstances when I try my best to keep a positive attitude? Well you just might not be trying enough. For instance, you stay positive today and keep up the negative attitude in a couple of days. Then you get motivated again to keep positive attitudes every day. You get it right this time for a couple of months then the ginger fizzles out.

How can you fix your negative attitude? There are simple things you need to do to keep your positivity. The first thing to fix is your mind. The state of your mind determines your attitude. If you think negative thoughts you get negative attitudes and reap negative results. Garbage in garbage out. It’s a simple law of nature. You only get what you expect. It’s high time you change your mind set to accommodate only positive thoughts. It is a little difficult and exhausting to monitor our thoughts every second. In fact, it’s impossible because we have approximately 11 million thoughts every day. You can only achieve this by making a conscious effort to control your thoughts when you can. Accept your mistakes but correct them as soon as you realize that you are being negative. Do this as a daily routine (not as a chore mind you) and it becomes a habit. This habit becomes your character and this character becomes the true definition of yourself.

It’s exciting when you reap the fruit of your labour. You are happy when all you think about produces your dream lifestyle. If happiness is your ultimate goal, stay positive and stay happy. A positive mindset + a positive attitude = Abundance. Live positive, live happy and live in abundance.
